Frequently Asked Questions
Does copying on my C9800GA MFP draw toner from this same set?
Yes. On a multifunction machine like the C9800GAMFP, copies come off the same print engine as prints, so color copying consumes the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges in this set just as a print job would. Offices that copy in color often find their color cartridges emptying faster than print-only estimates suggest.
What is inside the box?
Four cartridges — black, cyan, magenta and yellow — sold under the part numbers 42918901, 42918902, 42918903 and 42918904, each rated at up to 15,000 pages. One box therefore covers a complete four-position refresh of the C9800GAMFP for $292.17, about $73.04 per cartridge.
Which printers is this set catalogued for?
The C9800GAMFP is the headline model, and the cartridge group also covers the Oki C9600hdn, C9600hn, C9600n and C9800hdn. If your machine's nameplate carries a close variant of those names, compare the 42918901-series numbers on your current cartridges before you buy.
Can I replace just the one color the machine flags?
Absolutely. The cartridges are separately sealed, so the set works just as well as a shelf spare: install the flagged color now and keep the remaining three boxed for later. Nothing about the set forces a four-at-once change.
Are these original Oki cartridges?
They are compatible cartridges built to the 42918901, 42918902, 42918903 and 42918904 specifications, not Oki originals. Every set is backed by a one-year warranty, and if a cartridge misbehaves, returns are free for a full year.
Where does my order ship from?
From the nearest of our four warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA. Questions before or after ordering are handled Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and delivery and return terms are spelled out in our shipping and returns policy.
About This C9800GAMFP Four-Color Set
A multifunction C9800GA works its toner harder than a print-only machine, because every color copy drinks from the same four cartridges. This set answers that with a complete compatible refresh — 42918901, 42918902, 42918903 and 42918904, each rated at 15,000 pages — for $292.17. Fit them all at once or one at a time as the machine asks; the remaining cartridges wait on the shelf, covered by a one-year warranty. See the wider range on our Okidata page.
