Frequently Asked Questions

What does this set contain for the MFP M775f?

The complete HP 651A cartridge family: black CE340A, cyan CE341A, yellow CE342A and magenta CE343A — $379.17 for the set of four.

Our M775f is the office fax hub. How does that skew cartridge use?

Received faxes print in black only, so the black cartridge carries the fax load on top of its share of printing and copying. Expect the CE340A, rated 13,500 pages, to need renewal well ahead of the colors, which are rated 16,000 pages each and serve only print and copy work.

Can an empty color cartridge interrupt fax reception?

The fax side of the machine prints with black toner, so reception continues while the black cartridge lasts, even if the machine is flagging a color as empty for other work. Keeping the black in good supply is what protects the fax line.

Why stock colors at all if faxing dominates?

Because the same machine is usually the department's color printer and copier too. The day a color presentation lands, an empty cyan stops it cold. The set keeps all four positions covered so the machine's second job never waits on a delivery.

How do I check the machine's cartridge codes before ordering?

Print the supply status page from the control panel or read a fitted cartridge's label. It will name the 651A codes — CE340A, CE341A, CE342A, CE343A — which is exactly the contents of this set.

What cover and support are included?

A 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns applies to every cartridge; the shipping & returns page gives the procedure. Support is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and orders dispatch from IL, PA, GA and CA.

About This Set for the MFP M775f

A fax hub cannot choose when it works — the next incoming fax decides. This 651A set for the Color LaserJet Enterprise 700 MFP M775f keeps the black that the fax line depends on, and the three colors its print work needs, permanently within arm's reach.

The CE340A black is also available on its own across our HP listings for the frequent mid-cycle black changes fax hubs go through.
