Frequently Asked Questions

WorkCentre 6605, 6605N, 6605DN — three model names. How many different cyan cartridges are there?

One. The trailing letters describe machine features — networking, duplexing — not supplies. Every variant in this family takes the same cyan cartridge, part number 106R02225, and this listing is that cartridge: a single unit at $40.71. If the label on the cartridge you pull out reads 106R02225, you are looking at the right replacement regardless of which letters follow your model number.

Where does cyan actually show up in ordinary office documents?

More places than people expect: the blue of a company logo, hyperlink-colored headings, the blue and green series in every spreadsheet chart, shaded table headers, scanned stamps and signatures with blue ink. A document can look mostly black-and-white and still lean on cyan for its identity — which is why its fading is noticed first in logos and charts rather than body text.

Which models does this listing cover?

The Phaser 6600, Phaser 6600N, Phaser 6600DN, Phaser 6600YDN, WorkCentre 6605 and WorkCentre 6605DN. This page is titled for the WorkCentre 6605N; its cartridge is the platform's common cyan.

How do I confirm the cartridge in our machine is the one to reorder?

Open the front cover and read the code printed on the cyan unit itself. If it says 106R02225, this listing replaces it one-for-one. Matching the code off the physical cartridge beats matching by model name every time, and it sidesteps all the suffix-letter confusion in this family.

What does the 6,000-page rating mean for a shared multifunction?

The cartridge is rated at up to 6,000 pages at 5% coverage. On a shared 6605N that translates to months of ordinary mixed output; heavy color copying shortens it, text-heavy printing stretches it. At $40.71 the cyan share of a page costs roughly 0.68 cents at the rated yield.

What protection is included?

A 1-year warranty, plus free returns for a full year if anything underperforms. Full terms are on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
