Frequently Asked Questions

The 6600YDN is the variant nobody seems to stock for. Is its cyan cartridge different?

No — and that is the good news hidden in this uncommon badge. The Phaser 6600YDN shares its entire supply set with the rest of the 6600/6605 platform, so its cyan cartridge is the standard 106R02225 sold here: one cartridge, $40.71. The YDN letters describe the machine's configuration; they never created a separate toner line, and you do not need a special hunt to feed this printer.

How do I make sure I am ordering the cyan, and not one of the other colors?

Go by the part number, not the picture. Each position in this family has its own code, and 106R02225 belongs to cyan alone. If the cartridge currently in the cyan slot carries that code on its label, this listing is its direct replacement — the same check works no matter which color you are reordering next time.

Which models does the 106R02225 cover?

The Phaser 6600, Phaser 6600N, Phaser 6600DN, Phaser 6600YDN, WorkCentre 6605 and WorkCentre 6605DN. Six badges, one cyan cartridge.

Our skies print violet and the whole page has a pink cast. Which cartridge is that?

Cyan, almost certainly. Magenta unopposed is pink; blue starved of cyan tips into violet. When black stays neutral and reds stay honest but the blue end of the spectrum goes rosy, the cyan supply is the one that has faded — and on this platform the remedy is the 106R02225.

How much printing does one cartridge hold?

Up to 6,000 pages at the standard 5% coverage rating, for $40.71 — roughly 0.68 cents per page of cyan. Photo-dense and full-bleed work draws it faster; everyday office color tracks the rating far more closely.

What backing comes with the cartridge?

A 1-year warranty with free returns for a full year, spelled out on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
