Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the yellow in our company logo look paler this month than last?

Because the cartridge behind it is emptying slowly, and a logo is a fixed reference your eye can compare across time. The yellow element of a letterhead or logo loses density week by week — too gradual to catch on any single day, obvious when this month's invoice is laid beside last month's. Slow drift in a familiar graphic is the classic signature of a yellow cartridge in its last stretch.

How do you prove it is the cartridge and not the file or the design?

Reprint a document you printed a month ago, from the same file. If the older sheet is rich and the new one is pale, nothing about the file changed — the supply did. A print-quality test page from the Phaser 6600DN makes it plainer still: its yellow patch will show the weakness directly.

What is this cartridge rated to deliver?

Up to 6,000 pages at the standard 5% coverage benchmark. A duplexing office workhorse spends that across both sides of the sheet — letterheads, reports and handouts all count — so on a busy 6600DN the pages add up faster than the calendar suggests.

What does the yellow in a letterhead page cost?

The cartridge runs $40.71, which works out to about 0.68 cents of yellow per page over its rated life — a fraction of a cent standing between your branding and a washed-out look.

Which other machines take the same yellow cartridge?

The whole 6600/6605 platform shares it: the Phaser 6600, Phaser 6600N and Phaser 6600YDN, and the WorkCentre 6605 and WorkCentre 6605DN. Order by the code 106R02227 and the whole fleet is covered.

What warranty stands behind it?

A 1-year warranty, with free returns running the same full year if the cartridge underperforms. The full policy sits on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
