Frequently Asked Questions

What does buying 120,000 pages of black at once get you?

The lowest per-cartridge and per-page prices in this family, and a year or more of not thinking about black toner. Five 106R01569 cartridges at up to 24,000 pages each add up to 120,000 pages — the kind of stock a busy studio, a department running several 7800s, or a single very hard-worked machine draws on month after month.

How low does the five-pack take the cartridge price?

To $97.55 each. The same five cartridges bought singly would total $561.70; the pack is $487.76, saving $73.94. Spread over the pack's page rating, black lands at roughly 0.41 cents per page — the floor for this platform's black toner in our range.

Does one cartridge design really serve every Phaser 7800 version?

Yes — the black supply is common across the platform. The base 7800 and the 7800DG, 7800DN, 7800DX and 7800GX configurations all take the same 106R01569, which is precisely why a five-pack makes sense for a site with mixed machines: one shelf stock covers every printer, and no one has to check which variant a spare belongs to.

Is this pack all black, even for color machines?

All five cartridges are black. The color positions in these printers run on their own separate cartridges with their own part numbers and are not part of this pack. Black is stocked deepest because it is consumed fastest — every text page, form and report draws on it, including the black content inside otherwise colorful work.

How do you keep five cartridges in good order?

Store them sealed, flat, cool and dry, out of direct sunlight; the powder inside does not dry out, so shelf time is not the enemy. Rotate stock — always install the oldest box next — and the fifth cartridge will print exactly like the first when its turn finally comes.

What cover comes with a pack this size?

Every cartridge in it: a 1-year warranty and free returns for a full year under our shipping and returns page. We ship from IL, PA, GA and CA, answer support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and keep the rest of the range on the Xerox toner page.
