Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this set hold five cartridges when the printer has four slots?

Because it is built as cover, not just as a refill. A Phaser 7800 stops being productive the moment one position runs dry, and the fifth cartridge means the next change is already in the building. Fit four, keep the spare sealed in the cupboard, and the machine never waits on a courier again.

Which part numbers does the set cover?

All four positions of the platform: black 106R01569, cyan 106R01566, magenta 106R01567 and yellow 106R01568, with the fifth cartridge drawn from those same four numbers. Every cartridge in the carton belongs in this printer — nothing in the box is filler or a substitute code.

What yields are the cartridges rated at?

Black 106R01569 carries a rating of up to 24,000 pages, while cyan 106R01566, magenta 106R01567 and yellow 106R01568 are each rated up to 17,000 pages at the standard 5% coverage. Jobs with large color areas spend toner at a faster rate than that benchmark page, so plan around your own output mix.

Will the spare cartridge deteriorate while it waits?

No. Left sealed in its bag, a toner cartridge keeps its full rated capacity indefinitely under normal office conditions — room temperature, no direct sunlight. The spare fitted six months from now performs exactly as it would have on delivery day.

Who gets the most out of a five-cartridge set?

Any 7800 that cannot afford an idle afternoon: a print room on deadlines, a shared office machine, a site with no IT cupboard full of backup stock. The set converts toner from a recurring emergency purchase into a twice-a-year routine.

How is the set backed, and how quickly can it reach me?

It is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns — the full policy sits on our shipping and returns page. Dispatch comes from the nearest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and our support hours run Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This 7800 5 Color Set
