Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a five-pack honestly meant for?

Departments and small fleets that treat toner as infrastructure. Five MLT-D203U cartridges total 75,000 rated pages, which suits an SL-M4020ND running heavy daily volume — or an office standardising several printers on one supply code and feeding them from a single store cupboard. A home office printing a few pages a day would take years to finish it, and for that buyer a smaller pack is the smarter spend.

What is the per-cartridge price at this quantity?

The five-pack costs $203.73, so each MLT-D203U lands at $40.75 instead of the $55.53 single price — a total saving of $73.92 against buying five separately. That brings toner down to roughly 0.27 cents per rated page, the second-lowest figure anywhere in this cartridge's range.

Which printers draw from this stock?

The pack holds one code only, MLT-D203U, made for the Samsung SL-M4020ND. A mixed shelf is not needed: any SL-M4020ND on site can take a cartridge from this stock. Machines using the lower MLT-D203S, MLT-D203L or MLT-D203E tiers are supplied under their own listings, so check the code on the cartridge you are replacing if your fleet is mixed.

How do we manage five cartridges without losing track?

Use them in the order they arrived and keep the unopened ones sealed, flat and out of direct heat. Because each cartridge is rated at 15,000 pages, even a busy printer opens a new box infrequently — a dated note on the shelf when each unit goes in makes consumption easy to forecast for the next order.

Does a stock of toner cover the drum as well?

It does not. This platform images through a separate MLT-R203 drum unit that is replaced on its own cycle, far less frequently than toner. Keeping spare toner on hand does not remove the occasional drum purchase, and streaky output on a fresh cartridge is the classic sign that the drum, not the toner, needs attention.

What cover stands behind a bulk purchase like this?

The same as behind a single cartridge: every MLT-D203U in the pack carries a one-year warranty, and returns are free within that first year. The details sit on our shipping and returns page, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
