Frequently Asked Questions

At what point does a ten-pack stop making sense?

When your printing cannot realistically reach it. Ten MLT-D203U cartridges hold 150,000 rated pages, and that volume belongs to print rooms, busy departments and organisations running an SL-M4020ND hard every day. If a cartridge lasts your office the better part of a year, a ten-pack ties up money and shelf space for a decade — the honest advice is to buy the pack size your page counter justifies.

What is the lowest per-cartridge price in this range?

This is it. The ten-pack is $388.98, which puts each MLT-D203U at $38.90 — against $55.53 for a single cartridge, a saving of $166.32 across the ten. Toner cost works out to roughly 0.26 cents per rated page, the cheapest figure this cartridge is sold at in any quantity.

Which printer is this bulk pack stocked for?

One model: the Samsung SL-M4020ND, which is the machine the MLT-D203U is built for. A bulk purchase only pays when every unit shares a destination, so confirm the model badge before ordering. Other tiers for the platform — MLT-D203S, MLT-D203L and MLT-D203E — are separate supplies and are not part of this pack.

How should ten cartridges be stored?

Sealed, flat, and in a dry room at ordinary temperature, away from radiators and direct sun. Rotate the stock so the earliest-delivered cartridge goes into the printer first. Stored that way, an unopened MLT-D203U keeps its condition through the long draw-down a pack this size implies.

Does this pack include the imaging drum?

No — it is toner only. The SL-M4020ND uses a separate MLT-R203 drum unit that is replaced on its own much longer cycle. Over the life of a ten-pack you will likely fit a drum or two as well, but those are individual purchases made when print quality or the printer's warning calls for one.

What warranty and returns cover applies to the pack?

Each cartridge carries its own one-year warranty, and returns are free within the first year if a unit fails you. The complete policy is published on the shipping and returns page, and the support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
