Frequently Asked Questions

What does a three-pack actually cover in a year of printing?

Three MLT-D203U cartridges hold 45,000 rated pages between them. For an SL-M4020ND handling a few hundred pages a week, that is comfortably a year or more of printing bought in a single order — no mid-quarter supply runs, no emergency orders, just a shelf that stays stocked while the invoices and reports keep moving.

How much cheaper is each cartridge in this pack?

The three-pack is $129.64, bringing each cartridge down to $43.21 against $55.53 for a single — $36.95 saved across the pack. Toner cost per page falls to roughly 0.29 cents. If your printer reliably works through cartridges at this pace, the pack simply prices the same supply lower.

Which machine is this pack for?

Every cartridge in it is an MLT-D203U, the ultra-high-yield supply for the Samsung SL-M4020ND. Offices running that model can stock one code for the shelf; if your printer is a different Samsung, or takes one of the lower tiers such as the MLT-D203S or MLT-D203L, those are separate listings to order instead.

Will the third cartridge still be good when we finally open it?

Yes, provided it stays sealed. Toner does not dry out the way ink does, and a boxed cartridge kept flat in ordinary room conditions keeps for a long time. The realistic shelf question is not spoilage — it is whether your printing volume will reach the third unit while it is still a sensible use of the storage space.

Does buying three at once change anything about the drum?

No. The SL-M4020ND pairs its toner with a separate MLT-R203 imaging drum that wears on its own schedule, independent of how many cartridges you stock. Expect to change drums far less often than cartridges, and only when print quality or the printer's own warning says so.

What if a cartridge from the pack turns out to be defective?

Each unit is covered by a one-year warranty, with free returns available within the first year — the cover applies per cartridge, not just to the pack as a whole. You can read the full terms on the shipping and returns page, and reach support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
