Frequently Asked Questions

Why swap all four cartridges in one session instead of replacing them as each one runs out?

On an MP C300 or C400 that has been printing steadily, the four cartridges tend to age on roughly the same clock, so changing them together resets the machine's whole toner cycle in a single maintenance stop. You skip the stop-start pattern of a fresh black this week, a dry magenta in the middle of next week's proposal run, and a fading cyan the week after. If your levels are genuinely far apart, singles still make sense — this set is for machines whose four cartridges are finishing within sight of each other.

How much printing does one full set actually cover?

The yields differ by color in this family, so there is no single honest total: the black cartridge is rated at up to 8,300 pages and each color — cyan, magenta and yellow — at up to 10,000 pages, all at the standard 5% coverage. Because black rides on nearly every page while colors only work on color jobs, the black side will still reach empty first in most offices. Think of the set as one complete toner cycle for the machine rather than a fixed page count.

Which machines is this set made for?

This is the four-cartridge set for the Ricoh Aficio MP C300/C400 color MFP platform: Lanier LD130C, Lanier LD130CSR, Lanier LD140C, Lanier LD140CSR, Lanier MP C401, Lanier MP C401SR, Savin C230, Savin C230SR, Savin C240, Savin C240SR, Savin MP C401, Savin MP C401SR, Aficio MP C300, Aficio MP C300SR, Aficio MP C400, Aficio MP C400SR and Aficio MP C401 The page is titled for the C300 family, but the cartridges are platform cartridges — every machine in that list runs the same 841295 black and 841296/841297/841298 colors, so the set serves the whole family, not just the model in the listing name.

What does the set save over buying the four cartridges one at a time?

Bought separately, the black at $45.24 and the three colors at $56.84 each add up to $215.76. The set is $160.29, so you keep $55.47 and everything lands in one delivery instead of four separate orders at four separate times. For an office that already knows all four are due, it is the same toner for noticeably less money.

If one cartridge from the set disappoints, do I have to return all four?

No. Every cartridge in the set carries its own one-year warranty, and returns on our compatible cartridges are free for a full year — if a single cartridge misbehaves, we sort that cartridge out and the other three stay in your machine. The full terms live on our shipping & returns page.

How quickly will the set reach me?

We keep stock in four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — and your set ships from whichever is closest, which keeps ground transit short in most of the country. Questions before you order? Our team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
