Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually goes through three cartridges — is this a year's supply?

For many SP 4100N offices, yes. Three cartridges at 15,000 pages each give you up to 45,000 pages. An office printing about 3,500 pages a month lands right around a year; a lighter office printing 2,000 a month stretches the pack past 22 months. Buying the year in one order also locks in the per-cartridge price of $140.63 instead of the $152.96 single price.

What do I save compared with buying singles?

The 3-pack is $421.89. Three singles would cost $458.88, so the pack saves $36.99, and the per-cartridge price drops to $140.63. We will not dress this family up as bargain toner — it works out to roughly 0.94 cents per page — but within this cartridge line, the multi-packs are where the honest savings are.

Is this the right cartridge for my machine?

These are 402809 cartridges made for Ricoh Aficio SP 4100N. All three in the pack are the same code and the same fit. If your printer is a different Ricoh model, this pack is not the one — check the code printed on the cartridge you are replacing first.

Can I split the pack between two printers?

Absolutely. The cartridges are individually packaged and individually warranted, so a common setup is two cartridges for the busier machine and one for the second. Nothing about the pack requires them to be used in the same printer or in any particular order.

How should three cartridges be stored over that long a stretch?

Keep the spares sealed, flat, in a cool dry cabinet away from sunlight and radiators. Date the boxes with a marker when they arrive and use the oldest first — simple rotation means no cartridge sits longer than it needs to. Toner keeps well stored this way.

What protection and support does the pack come with?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover every cartridge in the pack. If one cartridge has a problem, we deal with that cartridge — you are not returning the whole pack. Full terms are on our shipping & returns page, and our team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
