Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of operation needs ten cartridges and 150,000 pages at once?
Almost always a fleet, not a single printer. Ten 402809 cartridges at 15,000 pages each suit organizations running several SP 4100N machines — a school district office, a clinic network, a warehouse group — where one bulk order feeds every machine and purchasing happens once a year. At $1,363.15, the per-cartridge price drops to $136.32, the lowest in this cartridge family.
How does the bulk pricing break down?
Ten singles would total $1,529.60. This pack is $1,363.15, saving $166.45, with each cartridge at $136.32 and the per-page cost around 0.91 cents. We are candid that this is a premium-priced cartridge line — availability for an older Ricoh model drives that — but if your fleet still runs these machines, this is the cheapest way per cartridge to keep them supplied.
Do all ten cartridges fit the same printers?
Yes. Every cartridge in the pack is the 402809 code made for Ricoh Aficio SP 4100N, so the stock can be deployed across any of those machines in your fleet interchangeably. If some of your Ricoh printers are different models, their cartridges are separate codes — this pack covers the SP 4100N units only.
How should ten cartridges be stored across locations?
A common approach is to keep the bulk at one site and issue cartridges to satellite offices as needed, or split the delivery between your two busiest locations. Wherever they wait, cartridges should stay sealed, flat, cool and dry, and dated on arrival so the oldest stock moves first.
What happens if one cartridge in ten has a problem?
It is handled on its own. Each cartridge carries the same 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns as our singles, so a faulty unit is replaced or returned without touching the other nine. The policy details live on our shipping & returns page.
Can someone help us plan a fleet order or a claim?
Yes — our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders ship from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses depending on destination. If you are standardizing supply for several machines, a quick conversation before ordering can make sure the pack sizes match each location's volume.
