Frequently Asked Questions
When does it actually make sense to replace all four cartridges at the same time?
Three situations cover most buyers: setting up a machine whose starter cartridges are nearly spent, refreshing a printer whose colors have all drifted together, and stocking a shared departmental machine before a heavy print season. If only one color is low, a single cartridge is the cheaper move — this set earns its price when all four slots genuinely need attention.
How much do I save versus buying the four cartridges one at a time?
The four singles — black at $80.18, cyan at $63.43, magenta at $101.30 and yellow at $66.90 — add up to $311.81. This set is $256.36, so you keep $55.45 and get one box, one shipment and one delivery to track instead of four separate orders.
Will these four cartridges run out at the same time afterwards?
No, and they are not rated to. The black cartridge is rated at 10,000 pages while each color is rated at 9,500, and real consumption depends on what you print — a text-heavy office drains black first, a graphics-heavy one drains colors first. After this full refresh, expect to go back to replacing cartridges individually as each one empties.
Are all four cartridges in this set made for my machine?
Yes — this is the complete 8415 family in one box: one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow, made for Ricoh Aficio MP C3001 and MP C3501. Listings in this family sometimes name just one of those models, but the cartridge set is identical for both, so this box covers either machine completely.
Do I have to install all four cartridges the day the box arrives?
Not at all. Install whichever slots are actually low and keep the rest sealed in the box until their turn comes. Many offices install the colors immediately and hold the black back as the shelf spare, since black is the cartridge a busy machine can least afford to wait on.
How does the warranty work on a four-cartridge set?
Each cartridge is covered on its own: the set carries our one-year warranty and one-year free returns (details on the shipping & returns page). If one cartridge out of the four misbehaves, you return that one — the other three stay in your machine and stay covered.
