Frequently Asked Questions
Our black output still looks perfect, but every color page is washed out — is this the set we need?
Very likely, yes. The three color cartridges age together because every color page draws on all three, so when charts look dull and photos look flat across the board, the colors are usually fading as a group while black still has life. This set replaces exactly those three and leaves your healthy black cartridge alone.
Why is there no black cartridge in this box?
Because plenty of machines need a color refresh long before the black runs out, and forcing a black cartridge into the bundle would charge you for toner you do not need yet. If your black is also low, order it alongside — but if it is printing clean and dark, this three-color set is the honest buy.
What does this set save against buying cyan, magenta and yellow separately?
The three singles total $231.63 — cyan $63.43, magenta $101.30, yellow $66.90. At $194.66 the set saves you $36.97, and the discount matters most on magenta, which is by far the priciest single cartridge in this family.
Do these three cartridges cover both machines in this family?
They do. This cyan, magenta and yellow trio belongs to the 8415 family used by Ricoh Aficio MP C3001 and MP C3501, and the color cartridges are shared across the whole platform — a listing that names one model is describing the same cartridges that install in the other.
Should I swap all three colors in one session, or only the emptiest one?
If one color has run dry and the other two still show healthy levels, swapping just that one is fine. But when all three are near the end together, changing them in one session restores balanced color in a single pass and saves you from repeating the same job twice more within a few weeks.
What if one of the three cartridges turns out to be faulty?
It is covered individually, like everything we sell: a one-year warranty plus free returns for a year, spelled out on our shipping & returns page. Send back only the faulty cartridge — the other two keep printing and keep their coverage.
