Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually goes through five cartridges at a time on one of these machines?
Offices running a shared MP C3001 or C3501 as a departmental hub — invoices and reports all day, color handouts and scans mixed in. A five-cartridge box covers a full working set plus genuine shelf backup, so the machine never sits idle waiting on a delivery when a cartridge gives out mid-week.
How much printing does this box represent?
Every cartridge in this family is long-lived: black cartridges are rated at 10,000 pages and each color at 9,500 pages at standard coverage. Spread across five cartridges, that is tens of thousands of pages of capacity in a single shipment — most offices measure this box in quarters, not weeks.
Will all five cartridges work in my machine?
Yes. Everything in this box belongs to the 8415 cartridge family shared by Ricoh Aficio MP C3001 and MP C3501, so any cartridge in the set installs in either model. Product listings in this family sometimes name a single machine, but the cartridges themselves are common to the whole platform.
What is the per-cartridge cost in this set?
The set is $318.04 for five cartridges, which averages about $63.61 per cartridge. For perspective, the family's single cartridges run from $63.43 up to $101.30 for magenta, so the set's flat average smooths out the family's most expensive single cartridge considerably.
How should we manage five cartridges so none of them age out on the shelf?
Keep the spares sealed, stored flat in a cool, dry cabinet away from sunlight, and rotate by install date — oldest stock goes into the machine first. Unopened toner keeps well for a long shelf life, so a set this size stays fresh as long as it is genuinely matched to your print volume.
Does buying a set change my warranty or return rights?
No — the same protection applies cartridge by cartridge: a one-year warranty and free returns for a full year, with the details on our shipping & returns page. A problem with one cartridge is handled on that cartridge alone; the rest of the set is unaffected.
