Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the cyan cartridge seem to run out before the others?

On the C612dn it usually comes down to what you print. Charts, presentations, photographs and blue-heavy branding all lean on cyan (46507503), so in graphics-led offices it is commonly the first color to report low while black is still going strong. This single exists precisely for that pattern.

What does cyan cost me per printed page here?

The cartridge is rated at 6,000 pages and priced at $37.35, which works out to roughly 0.62 cents per page at the rated yield. Real coverage varies with how dense your color work is, but as a planning figure it is a genuinely low running cost for a color cartridge.

Can I swap just the cyan and leave the other cartridges in place?

Yes — each color on this printer installs and is tracked independently. Replacing only the 46507503 when it is the one reporting low is normal practice, and there is no need to disturb magenta, yellow or black cartridges that still have life in them.

Will a compatible cyan match the colors I have been printing?

For everyday office color — documents, charts, handouts — a good compatible cartridge prints consistently with the rest of the set. If you are proofing color-critical artwork, run a test page after fitting and compare; support can help if a page looks off, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

How does this single relate to the rest of its family?

It is the cyan member of a four-code family: 46507504 black, this 46507503 cyan, 46507502 magenta and 46507501 yellow. Singles suit printers where one color drains faster; the family also comes in multi-cartridge sets if you prefer to refresh everything together.

What protection backs this cartridge after purchase?

A one-year warranty and one-year free returns on this compatible cartridge, with the terms on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses.
