Frequently Asked Questions

Does this six-cartridge set include a black cartridge?

No — and that is stated plainly because it matters. The codes in this box are 46507503 cyan, 46507502 magenta and 46507501 yellow only. Black for the C612dn is 46507504, sold separately. This set is built for color replenishment, on the reasonable assumption that your black is on its own, slower schedule.

How are the six cartridges divided among the three colors?

The listing does not publish the split, so we will not present a guessed breakdown as fact. Six cartridges across three color positions averages two rounds of color per position if divided evenly, but if the exact division decides your purchase, ask support to confirm the box contents first.

What does the set save against buying color singles?

The three color singles total $124.71, so two full rounds bought individually would run $249.42. This set is $156.99 — an average of about $26.17 per cartridge, the lowest per-cartridge figure among the family's color-only options, and well under the cost of six singles.

Why would an office stock colors more deeply than black?

Because on a color printer doing graphics, charts and marketing pages, the three colors often cycle two or three times for every black change. A color-only bulk pack matches that real consumption pattern instead of forcing you to accumulate spare black cartridges you do not yet need.

What yield should I expect from each cartridge in the set?

Each color in this family is rated at 6,000 pages. Kept as a per-cartridge class figure rather than a multiplied headline, that means every fitting gives you a full 6,000-page-rated color cartridge, whichever position it goes into.

What warranty and returns cover apply to a bulk color set?

The same as the singles: a one-year warranty and one-year free returns on these compatible cartridges, set out on our shipping and returns page. Stock ships from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
