Frequently Asked Questions

Who genuinely needs eight cartridges in a single order?

Busy C612dn workgroups that treat toner like paper — a stocked consumable, not a per-incident purchase. Eight cartridges from the 46507504 / 46507503 / 46507502 / 46507501 family means roughly two full rounds of printing on the shelf, so a low-toner warning never becomes a stalled print queue.

Is the per-cartridge price better than the smaller sets?

Yes, this is where the family pricing finally bends: $215.83 across eight cartridges averages about $26.98 each, against $29.29 in the four-pack. Two separate four-packs would cost $234.32, so the eight-pack saves $18.49 against buying the same quantity in smaller boxes.

Which color is doubled up in the eight-pack?

The listing names the four family codes but does not publish an exact color split for the eight cartridges, and we will not invent one. If your usage leans heavily on one color, ask support to confirm the box contents before you order so the split matches how your office actually prints.

How do the page ratings work across a pack this size?

By class, not by a lumped total: black cartridges from this family are rated at 8,000 pages apiece and colors at 6,000 apiece. However the eight are divided, each installed cartridge delivers its own class rating, and colors will generally cycle faster than black in mixed office work.

What is the sensible way to rotate stock from a bulk pack?

Oldest first. Date the box when it arrives, fit cartridges in the order you bought them, and keep the unopened ones sealed, flat and out of sunlight. Toner does not spoil quickly, but orderly rotation keeps seals and packaging in the best condition until fitting day.

Does buying in bulk change my warranty or returns position?

No. These compatible cartridges carry the same one-year warranty and one-year free returns as any single — see our shipping and returns page. Stock ships from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, with support staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
