Frequently Asked Questions

Five cartridges, four slots in the printer — how is the extra one divided?

Honestly: the listing names the four family codes — 46507504 black, 46507503 cyan, 46507502 magenta and 46507501 yellow — but does not state which color the fifth cartridge duplicates. If the split matters for your stockroom, contact support before ordering and we will confirm exactly what is in the box rather than guess.

What does the fifth cartridge do to the price per cartridge?

At $146.58 for five, the average works out to about $29.32 per cartridge — almost identical to the four-cartridge set's average. So the fifth cartridge is priced roughly at the single-cartridge rate; the value of this pack is convenience and having a spare on the shelf, not a deep per-cartridge discount.

Who is a five-cartridge pack actually useful for?

Offices where one color clearly outruns the others. If your C612dn burns through cyan on charts and presentations while black lasts for months, a pack carrying a duplicate of the fast color saves a separate emergency order later — once you have confirmed with support which color is doubled.

What page ratings apply across the pack?

Two classes, kept separate on purpose: black cartridges in this family are rated at 8,000 pages, and the color cartridges at 6,000 pages each. Because the pack mixes both classes, quoting one combined page total would mislead, so we do not add them together.

How should I store the spare cartridge?

Sealed, flat, and away from heat and direct light. A spare from this pack can sit in a supply cupboard until its slot runs low; just keep it in its packaging so the drum surface and seals stay protected until the day it is fitted.

What if the pack turns out not to suit my printer's usage?

These are compatible cartridges covered by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — the details live on our shipping and returns page. Shipments go out from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and the support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This C612dn Five Color Set

This five-cartridge compatible set for the Oki C612dn draws on the 46507504, 46507503, 46507502 and 46507501 family, priced at $146.58. Its honest selling point is flexibility: a full BKCMY refresh plus one spare, at an average cost per cartridge in line with the four-pack. Because the listing does not say which color is duplicated, a quick message to support before checkout is the sensible move. More of the range sits on our Okidata page, and the pack carries a one-year warranty with one-year free returns.
