Frequently Asked Questions

How does the pricing on this 3 pack break down?

Three 43501901 drum units for $173.80 — about $57.93 a drum. Against the $70.25 single price, three bought separately would run $210.75, so the pack saves roughly $36.95 and drops the per-drum cost by more than $12. Each drum is rated up to 25,000 pages, so the box holds up to 75,000 pages of drum life.

Who is a 3 pack actually sized for?

A small office running two or three printers from the family this drum serves — B4400, B4400n, B4500, B4500n, B4550, B4550n, B4600 and B4600n all take the same 43501901. Three drums let you refresh every machine at once, or cover one printer for a long stretch with spares in reserve, without placing repeat orders.

Will the third drum go stale sitting on a shelf?

Not if it stays sealed. A drum's 25,000-page life is consumed by printing, not by calendar time in any practical sense, so a boxed spare kept out of bright light and heat will be ready when its turn comes. Open each unit only when you are about to install it.

How do I know it is the drum failing, and not the toner?

Look at the pattern of the fault. Repeating streaks, lines at regular intervals, a gray haze behind text and faded bands in the same position on every page point at the drum surface. Toner problems look different — overall lightness that a new cartridge fixes. If a fresh toner cartridge changed nothing, the 43501901 drum is the worn part.

What warranty and returns cover this pack?

These are compatible drums, not genuine Oki parts, and the pack is backed by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — see the shipping & returns page for the full wording.

Who do I contact with a question, and where does it ship from?

Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders are dispatched from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA. The wider Oki range is on the Okidata brand page.
