Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a 5-pack of these cartridges actually for?

Offices where a B4300-family printer is shared infrastructure — a workgroup B4300n on the network, say — and running dry mid-week is not an option. Five 42102901 cartridges at $75.04 keep roughly 30,000 rated pages in the building.

What does the per-cartridge price fall to at this size?

About $15.01 a cartridge, half the $29.80 single price. Five singles would cost $149.00, so the pack saves $73.96, and the rated cost per page across 30,000 pages drops to about a quarter of a cent.

Which machines will these five cartridges fit?

Any mix of Oki B4300, B4300n and B4350 printers — the entire family uses the 42102901. A small fleet can draw from one shared box instead of keeping separate stock per machine.

How should we store four spares while one is in use?

Keep them sealed, flat, and in a cool dry cupboard away from radiators and windows. Toner is stable in storage; the practical limit is how often the printer actually empties a cartridge, not the shelf.

Are these original Okidata cartridges?

No, they are compatible cartridges manufactured to the 42102901 specification. Cover is a one-year warranty plus one-year free returns on every cartridge in the pack — see the shipping & returns page for the terms.

Can I get a person on the phone about a bulk order?

Yes — support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses. Smaller quantities of this cartridge are on the Okidata brand page if five turns out to be more than you need.
