The mix is deliberate. Per cartridge, black rates up to 1,100 pages and each colour up to 950 (ISO/IEC 24711) — figures stated per cartridge and never added together — but a WorkForce Pro burns black far faster than colour on document work, so an evenly stocked shelf runs out of black mid-cycle. Three blacks in the box match that rhythm, and the spares wait sealed until their slot calls for them. Because spares sit on a shelf, this family's rule matters doubly here: a chip is included with every cartridge, and printer firmware updates can affect recognition on this platform, so a bulk stock is best installed cartridge by cartridge as needed, with recognition confirmed each time, rather than after a long unattended run of automatic updates.

The set serves all three verified models — WorkForce Pro WF-3720, WF-3730 and WF-3733 — which also accept the standard codes (T702120-S, T702220-S, T702320-S, T702420-S). It does not fit 802-family printers. Every cartridge carries our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Why nine cartridges — and why three blacks?

Because black is consumed fastest on these document printers. The box holds 3 × black, 2 × cyan, 2 × magenta and 2 × yellow, all XL, so an office can run a long stretch — including two full colour resets — without a mid-cycle black reorder.

How many pages is that altogether?

We do not add it up: the nine cartridges empty at different rates, so a single combined figure would promise something no office actually experiences. Per cartridge the ratings are black up to 1,100 pages and each colour up to 950 pages, on the ISO/IEC 24711 pattern.

    Which printers does it fit?

All three officially verified 702-family models: WorkForce Pro WF-3720, WF-3730 and WF-3733. One box genuinely covers a mixed shelf of these three, because all three share the identical 702 / 702XL code set in Epson's own documentation.

How should the spares be stored?

Sealed in their packs, upright, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, installed one slot at a time as the printer asks. Do not open a pack early — the seal is what keeps a spare reliable while it waits.

Is there a risk in stocking up, given this family's chip warnings?

The honest answer is that the risk is managed, not absent. Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — so with a bulk stock, keep the printer's automatic firmware updates paused, install each spare as it is needed, and confirm recognition before printing work that matters. A cartridge that will not clear a warning after reseating and restarting is replaced under the lifetime warranty.

Is this set XL or standard capacity?

XL throughout — every one of the nine cartridges is a high-capacity code (T702XL120 / 220 / 320 / 420). Our 702 shelf is XL-only; the standard codes fit the same printers but are not what this box contains.

What kind of ink is inside?

DURABrite Ultra pigment ink in all nine cartridges — the ink family Epson specifies for the whole 702 line. It is document ink: sharp text and colour that resist smudging, water and fading on plain paper.

Another seller offers a 10-pack for this printer. Is that this product?

No. A 10-cartridge pack with four blacks is a different seller's construction for this family. This box follows the nine-cartridge construction priced on our ladder: three blacks and two of each colour. Compare pack contents, not just pack counts, before comparing prices.

I print mostly black text. Why do my colours still run down?

The printer draws a small amount of ink from every cartridge during printing and cleaning cycles to keep its permanent printhead charged and clear — Epson states this in its own support answers. That slow colour drain is exactly why a useful bulk box carries two of each colour rather than blacks alone.

What happens if one of the nine fails?

The lifetime warranty is per cartridge. Troubleshoot that one — reseat it, restart the printer — and if it still will not perform, it is replaced on its own; the other eight cartridges and your stock plan are unaffected.

Is this a genuine Epson product?

No — it is a Clever Supplies compatible bulk set built to the four genuine XL codes, labelled compatible on the box and on this page. It is not manufactured by Epson.

What warranty and returns cover this set?

A lifetime warranty on every cartridge in the box, and free returns for the first year.
