Magenta does more work in your photos than any other color — skin tones, sunsets and product shots all lean on it — so when the magenta tank empties, prints don't just stop, they turn greenish and wrong on the way there. This compatible T502320-S bottle puts 70 mL of dye magenta back in the tank, good for up to 6,000 pages on the ISO/IEC 24712 pattern.

We formulate our magenta to the 502 dye specification because color printers are calibrated systems: the printer mixes cyan, magenta and yellow expecting known dye strengths. Staying on-spec keeps reds red and faces natural, instead of the color drift you get from generic "universal" refill ink that ignores which family it is filling.
The refill itself takes a couple of minutes. The bottle's keyed nozzle matches only the magenta tank of a 502 printer, the flow stops on its own at full, and there is no chip anywhere in the process — nothing to reset and nothing for a firmware update to block.
Family check, because this is where most wrong orders happen: 502 and 522 are different families. Magenta for ET-2720, ET-2800 and ET-4800 is a 522 bottle (65 mL, different keying). This T502320-S fits the 16 verified models below — including the ET-2850, which takes 502 even though its near-twin ET-2800 takes 522.
Backed by our lifetime warranty; returns are free for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the T502320-S?
Epson's part number for the 502 magenta bottle. Ours is the compatible equivalent: 70 mL of dye magenta ink, up to 6,000 pages (ISO/IEC 24712).
My prints are coming out too green. Is that a magenta problem?
Very likely. When magenta runs low, the printer's mix loses its red component and images skew green/cyan. Check the magenta tank level first — a refill usually cures it immediately.
Does using a compatible bottle change my colors?
The dye is built to the 502 specification, so the printer's factory color profiles keep working as designed. Off-spec universal inks are the ones that shift color; family-specific ink avoids that.
Can this bottle be used in the cyan or yellow tank by mistake?
No — the nozzle is keyed per color. Magenta seats only on magenta. That mechanical keying is also what separates bottle families: a 522 magenta cannot seat in a 502 printer at all.
I have an ET-4800. Is this my magenta?
No — the ET-4800 is a 522 model. You need the 522 magenta (65 mL). This bottle serves the 16 502 models listed below.
And for the ET-4850?
Yes — the ET-4850 is verified 502 in Epson's own specification sheet. The badges differ by one digit (4800 vs 4850) but the families are different; always read the full model number.
Is there a chip or counter to reset after refilling?
No chip exists in a bottle system. Your printer tracks the physical tank level; after refilling you simply confirm the refill on the printer's panel if it asks.
How should the bottle be stored between refills?
Sealed, upright, room temperature, out of direct sun. Dye ink is stable in the bottle; heat and UV are its enemies. (Shelf-life figure in Specifications is pending supplier confirmation.)
Can I mix this with another brand's magenta already in the tank?
If the ink in the tank is 502-family ink, topping up is normal EcoTank use. Mixing across families (522 into a 502 tank) is not possible mechanically and not advisable chemically.
What does the lifetime warranty actually cover?
If the bottle leaks, fails to flow, or produces defective output, we replace it — for the life of the product. Returns are free within the first year. (Returns period: standing policy assumption, flagged for confirmation.)
Is this an Epson product?
It is a Clever Supplies compatible made to the T502320-S spec — not an Epson-manufactured bottle, and the page and box say so openly.
