Yellow is the tank nobody watches. This compatible T502420-S bottle refills it properly: 70 mL of dye yellow ink, rated up to 6,000 pages per ISO/IEC 24712.
Like the other 502 colors, the yellow position is dye ink by Epson's design: dye blends cleanly with cyan and magenta to make the greens, oranges and skin tones your printer is profiled for. Our yellow is mixed to the 502 dye specification, so a top-up restores the original color balance instead of shifting it.

What bottle is this, exactly?
The compatible version of Epson's T502420-S: 70 mL of dye yellow ink for 502 EcoTank printers, up to 6,000 pages (ISO/IEC 24712).
My greens are printing blue. Is yellow the culprit?
Almost certainly. Green is cyan + yellow; when yellow starves, green collapses toward blue. Check the yellow tank window — it empties sooner than most owners expect.
Why is yellow dye and not pigment like the black?
Epson's 502 system uses pigment only in the black position (for document text) and dye in all three color positions (for smooth color blending). We follow the same split.
Could I accidentally fill the wrong tank with this?
No. The nozzle is keyed to the yellow tank of 502 printers only — it won't seat on cyan or magenta, and a 522 bottle won't seat anywhere on a 502 machine.
Does the ET-15000 take this bottle?
Yes. Epson's ET-15000 specification sheet lists 502 color bottles (70 mL, 6,000 pages) as its replacement ink, yellow included. Some ET-15000 documents use the DuraBrite name; the bottle family is still 502.
Will a firmware update block this bottle?
There is nothing to block — bottles contain no chip or electronics. The printer reads a physical tank level.
How far ahead can I buy a spare?
Unopened bottles store well sealed and upright at room temperature, away from sunlight. (Our stated shelf-life figure is in Specifications, pending supplier confirmation — check before long-term stocking.)
The tank still shows low after I refilled. What now?
EcoTank printers estimate levels; after a refill, confirm the refill in the printer's maintenance menu so the counter resets to match the physical tank.
