ET-2850 Ink: The Model That Breaks the Numbering Pattern Epson's range has a trap built into it: ET-2800 takes 522 ink, but its close sibling ET-2850 takes 502. Epson's own spec line for the ET-2850 reads "Replacement Ink Yield ISO Pages: T502 — Black: 7,500, Color: 6,000," and its box contains a 502 black (127 mL) and 502 colors (70 mL). Epson's team has confirmed the split publicly: the 502 family pairs a pigment black with dye colors.
So for the ET-2850: black = T502120 (pigment, up to 7,500 pages), colors = T502220 / T502320 / T502420 (dye, up to 6,000 pages each; ISO/IEC 24712). A 522 bottle will not seat in this printer's tanks.
