Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a 5-pack of this cartridge actually sized for?

For anywhere the B1260-B1265 machines are doing real work — a department running a B1260dnf as its copy-print hub, or an office with several of these printers scattered across desks. Five cartridges at up to 2,500 pages each is up to 12,500 pages of supply. That volume turns toner from a monthly errand into a stock item you check a few times a year.

What is the saving against buying singles?

Clear and worth having. Five cartridges bought one at a time would cost $191.05; this pack is $117.10, so $73.95 stays in the budget and each cartridge works out to $23.42 instead of $38.21. Across the pack's rated pages, toner cost falls to about 0.94 cents per page.

Can one pack feed several different printers?

Yes — that is the design of the range. The 331-7327 is the black cartridge for the whole B1260 and B1265 family, including the B1260dn and B1260dnf multifunction models and the B1265dfw. A single shelf stock of this pack can serve any mix of them, which is why facilities buyers prefer one pack over five differently-labeled boxes.

How do we store five cartridges without wasting them?

Keep them sealed, flat, dry and out of sunlight at room temperature, and issue them in order — oldest stock into the machine first. A cartridge resting in its packaging keeps properly for the long intervals a 5-pack implies; what ruins spares is heat, damp and a torn seal, not patience.

Are these genuine Dell cartridges?

No. The pack contains compatible 331-7327 cartridges made by a third-party manufacturer to Dell's specification for this range. The pack price, the $23.42 per-cartridge figure and the 2,500-page rating per unit all describe these compatible cartridges.

What if a cartridge from the pack fails?

Each one stands on its own 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns — a faulty unit goes back without disturbing the rest of your stock. You can reach us Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, full terms are on our shipping & returns page, and the pack ships from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses.
