Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of operation buys its 331-7327 cartridges ten at a time?

One that has done the volume maths: a facilities or purchasing team keeping a fleet of B1260dn, B1260dnf or B1265dfw machines supplied across a building or several sites. Ten cartridges at up to 2,500 pages apiece is up to 25,000 pages — a genuine annual supply for a busy fleet, bought once, on one order, at the lowest per-cartridge price this range offers.

How much does the bulk price actually save?

Against ten single cartridges at $38.21 — $382.10 in total — this pack at $215.73 saves $166.37. Each cartridge lands at $21.57, and spread across the rated output the toner cost comes to about 0.86 cents per page. The saving is arithmetic, not a promotion: it is there in the unit prices for anyone to check.

Why does ordering by part number matter at this scale?

Because fleets drift. Printer badges change as machines are replaced, but the cartridge stays 331-7327 across the B1260 and B1265 families. A purchasing system keyed to that one number keeps reordering correctly year after year, without anyone having to remember which desk has which model — one line item, one shelf location, no near-miss substitutes.

How should ten cartridges be stored and issued?

Sealed, flat, dry and out of sunlight, issued strictly in rotation so the oldest stock is used first. At fleet volumes it is worth a simple stock card: when the shelf drops to two cartridges, that is the reorder trigger for the next pack. The cartridges keep properly in their packaging; disciplined rotation is what turns a bulk buy into a system rather than a pile.

Are all ten cartridges genuine Dell?

No — all ten are compatible 331-7327 units from a third-party manufacturer, built to Dell's specification for the B1260-B1265 range. The $215.73 pack price, the $21.57 per-cartridge figure and the 2,500-page rating per cartridge refer to these compatible units.

What cover supports a purchase this size?

Every cartridge carries its own 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a single faulty unit is returnable without unravelling the order. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, the full terms are on our shipping & returns page, and stock ships from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA.
