Frequently Asked Questions

Our stock list just says "330-2045" — is this that cartridge?

Yes. 330-2045 is the Dell part number for this high-yield black cartridge, rated at up to 20,000 pages and priced here at $98.87. This listing carries the number in its name precisely so a storeroom list, a maintenance contract or an old purchase order can be matched against it without guesswork.

How do I confirm the number before ordering?

Check the label on the cartridge you are taking out, or the supply list in your printer documentation: if it reads 330-2045, this is the same unit. Ordering by part number rather than by a printer nickname is the reliable route, because one cartridge often serves more than one model — this one covers the Dell 5330 and 5330dn.

What does the cartridge cost per page?

At $98.87 against a 20,000-page rating, about 0.49 cents per page. That is the rated figure at standard 5% coverage; documents with heavy fills and dense graphics will use toner faster and push the real cost per page up somewhat.

Is this an original Dell cartridge?

No — it is a compatible 330-2045, produced by a third-party manufacturer to the same specification. The part number identifies the cartridge it replaces; the rating, the price and the cover below are the substance of what you are buying.

How long will one unit keep a 5330 running?

At a department pace of 2,500 pages a month, roughly eight months. Busier machines at 4,000 pages a month will see about five months. Either way the change interval is long enough that a single shelf spare, reordered when it is used, keeps most sites covered.

What cover comes with it?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The full terms are on our shipping & returns page.
