Frequently Asked Questions
We run a 5330 and a 5330dn — can one 3-pack feed both?
Yes, that is the practical point of this pack. Both printers take the same 330-2045 cartridge, so one 3-pack of identical units stocks two machines from a single line on the order. Keep the sealed spares in one place and either machine draws from the same stock.
What does the 3-pack cost against buying singles?
Three singles at $98.87 come to $296.61; the 3-pack is $265.73, so the saving is $30.88 — just over 10%. Per cartridge that is $88.58 instead of $98.87, and the toner cost per rated page falls from about 0.49 cents to about 0.44 cents.
How far does 60,000 rated pages take two shared printers?
Between them, at a combined 5,000 pages a month, a full year of printing. A single heavy machine at 4,000 pages a month would stretch the pack to fifteen months. Those figures use the standard 5% coverage the rating assumes; heavy documents shorten them.
What if one cartridge in the pack underperforms?
Each unit is covered individually by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so one faulty cartridge in the pack does not affect the standing of the other two. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the terms are on our shipping & returns page.
Are these genuine Dell cartridges?
No — they are compatible 330-2045 cartridges, manufactured by a third party to the same specification. The rating, the price and the warranty are the substance; the Dell badge on the box is not part of the deal.
How should the pack be stored until it is used?
Keep the sealed cartridges flat in a dry cupboard at ordinary room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Load them oldest first as the working unit in each printer runs out, and the last one in the pack will be as fresh as the first.
