Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of operation buys 200,000 pages of toner in a single order?
A high-volume one: a busy department running its 5330s every working hour, a school or clinic fleet stocked from a central store, or a print room that accounts toner annually. Ten 330-2045 cartridges at 20,000 pages each total 200,000 rated pages, and at that scale ordering once a year instead of ten times is the point.
What does the 10-pack cost per cartridge and per page?
$849.77 for ten is $84.98 a cartridge — the lowest per-unit price in this family — against $98.87 one at a time, a saving of $138.93 across the pack. The toner cost per rated page falls to about 0.42 cents. The saving per cartridge is modest on its own; spread over ten units and 200,000 pages, it adds up to real budget.
How long will ten cartridges actually last?
That depends entirely on volume: machines totalling 12,000 pages a month finish one cartridge every five to six weeks and the pack in around seventeen months; a still heavier site at 20,000 pages a month works through them close to every month or so. The pack suits a meter that moves — not a printer that idles.
Is there a risk in holding this much stock?
The risks are practical, not chemical: capital parked in toner, storage space, and forgetting what is at the back of the shelf. Rotation — oldest first, date on the master carton — handles the last one. Cartridges keep sealed, flat, dry and out of sunlight; a site consuming at the rate this pack assumes will load the tenth unit well within its prime.
Are the cartridges genuine Dell?
No — all ten are compatible 330-2045 units made by a third party to the same specification, for the Dell 5330 and 5330dn. Each carries the full 20,000-page rating, and the cover below stands for every cartridge individually.
What cover comes with the 10-pack?
A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every unit. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the terms are on our shipping & returns page.
