Frequently Asked Questions

Six colour cartridges and no black — who stocks colour this deep?

A site whose colour work is the main event: training-material production, marketing handouts, photo-heavy copying — anywhere an imageRUNNER spends its day in colour. Black on those machines still comes from the separate 26,000-page GPR-23 black cartridge; this set exists because the colour side is where the consumption, and the stockouts, actually happen.

What does this set bring the per-cartridge price down to?

Six colour cartridges for $266.72 is about $44.45 a cartridge — the lowest per-cartridge price among the GPR-23 colour sets we sell, below the 3-piece colour set's roughly $47.54. Each cartridge is rated at up to 14,000 pages, same as the colour singles; the saving is purely the bulk pricing.

How are the six cartridges divided among the colours?

The set covers the three GPR-23 colours — GPR-23C cyan, GPR-23M magenta and GPR-23Y yellow. How fast each colour is consumed depends on your output mix, which is exactly why deep colour stock makes sense: whichever colour a heavy month leans on, the cupboard already holds it, instead of one colour running dry while the others sit full.

Will colour cartridges degrade sitting in the store cupboard?

Kept sealed in their boxes, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight, toner cartridges hold up well in storage. The working rules are simple: don't open a cartridge until it goes into the machine, rotate stock so the oldest is used first, and keep boxes away from radiators and windows. A site that justifies six at a time is turning them over regularly anyway.

How does this fit with the black cartridge's schedule?

Independently, as always in the GPR-23 family. Black is rated at 26,000 pages against 14,000 per colour, so while this set works through its six colour units, black is bought and changed on its own slower cycle. Nothing in this set changes that rhythm — it simply guarantees the colour side never stops a job.

What if one cartridge in six is faulty?

It is covered like any other: our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns apply to every compatible cartridge in the box, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. One bad unit does not affect the cover on the other five.
