Frequently Asked Questions

I think I ordered a set for the wrong copier family — what can I do?

Do not open the cartridge seals. This set is covered by 1-year free returns, so a set bought in error can go back as long as it is returned in line with the returns terms. The practical first step is to check the part numbers on your machine's installed cartridges against this set's numbers before anything is opened — that check takes a minute and settles the question.

How do I confirm this is the correct set before breaking any seals?

Compare labels. The set for the WorkCentre 7428 FB contains black 006R01395, cyan 006R01398, magenta 006R01397 and yellow 006R01396. Open the machine, read any one installed cartridge's number, and if it matches one of those four you have the right family. The model family printed on the copier's badge should also sit within the 7425/7428/7435 series.

Does "Premium Quality" in this listing's name mean different cartridges from the standard listing?

No. Both listings describe the same four cartridges, at the same $132.31 price, under the same warranty and returns terms. The wording differs; the contents do not, and nothing extra is charged for the name.

What condition should a returned set be in?

Returns are smoothest when the cartridges come back sealed and in their original packaging, since a seal broken in error cannot be undone. The exact conditions are set out on the returns page linked below, and if a box arrived damaged you should contact support before doing anything with it so the situation is on record.

A cartridge arrived damaged in the box — who do I contact?

Our support team, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Note which color is affected and keep the packaging until the team has advised you; between the 1-year warranty and the returns cover described on our shipping and returns page, a damaged arrival is resolved without leaving your office to absorb the cost.

Which machines is this set intended for?

It is built for the WorkCentre 7428 FB and its relatives in the same cartridge family, including the WorkCentre 7425 FB and WorkCentre 7435 FB. The complete Xerox lineup is listed on the brand page if you are matching sets for several different machines.
