Frequently Asked Questions

The toner warning just lit up on our 3655XM — what do I order?

The 106R02740. It is the extra-high-yield black cartridge for this platform — one compatible unit on this listing, rated at up to 25,900 pages, priced at $48.00. Match it against the label on the cartridge you remove and the numbers will agree.

How much printing is left after the warning appears?

The low-toner warning is an early notice, not an empty tank — there is normally a useful run of pages behind it. That buffer is your ordering window: order now and the replacement lands before print quality starts to thin.

What does the cartridge work out to per page?

About 0.19 cents at standard 5% coverage. On a machine that earns its keep printing all day, one $48.00 cartridge covers roughly half a year's mid-volume work.

Which other models take the same unit?

The compatibility list names the WorkCentre 3655 and the WorkCentre 3655i. If your fleet mixes those with the XM variant, one cartridge type covers every machine.

Should the replacement after this one come from a multipack?

If this machine empties cartridges on a schedule, yes — the 106R02740 5-pack trims the unit cost to about $33.21. For a machine that sips toner, repeat singles at $48.00 stay the leaner habit.

What cover does this cartridge carry?

A 1-year warranty and a full year of free returns. The shipping and returns page spells out the terms, and support is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
