Frequently Asked Questions

Why would an XM office buy toner five at a time?

Because the 3655XM is a working machine, and working machines should not wait on deliveries. Five 106R02740 cartridges — up to 129,500 pages — mean the next four toner warnings are shelf trips, not purchase orders.

What does the bulk price do to my cost per page?

It drops it from roughly 0.19 cents on the $48.00 single to about 0.13 cents here: $166.03 across five cartridges, around $33.21 per unit, saving $73.97 against five separate single orders.

Are all five cartridges the full extra-high-yield fill?

Yes. Each unit in the box is the complete 25,900-page 106R02740 — the multipack discount comes from quantity, never from a reduced fill.

Which models can use cartridges from this box?

The 106R02740 is listed for the WorkCentre 3655 and the WorkCentre 3655i, so an XM-centered fleet that also runs those models draws on one shared box.

How do I keep a long-lived box organized?

Store it sealed in the supply cabinet, note the order date on the carton, and take cartridges from one end. Rotation keeps the oldest stock moving into the machine first.

What if a unit from the middle of the box fails?

The 1-year warranty and year-long free returns apply to each cartridge individually — coverage does not expire because its box-mates worked fine. Details are on our shipping and returns page; support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
