Frequently Asked Questions

This listing names the 3655S — which cartridge does it actually ship?

It ships the 106R02740, the extra-high-yield black cartridge rated at up to 25,900 pages. Several listings in this store carry the same cartridge under the different model names of the platform; the part number on the box is the one that matters, and it is 106R02740 on every one of them.

Which models is this cartridge listed for?

The compatibility list for the 106R02740 covers the WorkCentre 3655 and the WorkCentre 3655i. Check your machine's supply label against the part number — a match on 106R02740 settles the question.

What does one cartridge cost me per page?

At $48.00 and up to 25,900 pages, about 0.19 cents per page. That figure is the whole running-cost story for black printing on this platform — no smaller, pricier-per-page cartridge sits alongside it.

How often will I be changing it?

At a light 800 pages a month, a single cartridge can run past two years. At 3,000 pages a month it lasts about eight and a half months. Either way, swaps are rare enough that most users keep no spare at all until the warning light appears.

Would a multipack make more sense for a 3655S office?

If the machine prints daily, usually yes: the 106R02740 5-pack lowers the per-cartridge price to roughly $33.21 from the same shelf stock. This single remains the low-commitment way to cover one replacement.

What guarantee do I get?

A 1-year warranty plus free returns for a full year. Terms live on our shipping and returns page, and the support team works Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
