Frequently Asked Questions

What cartridges does this set include?

All four for the compact 6000-series color machines: black 106R01630, cyan 106R01627, magenta 106R01628 and yellow 106R01629. One box therefore restocks every slot of a Phaser 6000/6010 or WorkCentre 6015 at once.

How many pages will we get from each one?

The black 106R01630 is rated at up to 2,000 pages, while cyan 106R01627, magenta 106R01628 and yellow 106R01629 are each rated at up to 1,000 pages, based on 5% coverage. These are small desktop machines, and the cartridge sizes match that role — a home office or a two-person desk setup will find the pace comfortable, while heavy color printing drains a color cartridge quickly.

Which printers does the set fit?

The Phaser 6000, Phaser 6010 and Phaser 6010N, along with the WorkCentre 6015 multifunction models. The cartridge you remove should show one of the numbers 106R01630, 106R01627, 106R01628 or 106R01629.

Can the cartridges be changed one at a time?

Yes. On these little machines each cartridge pulls straight out of the top and its replacement drops in, so there is no reason to change a color that still has life in it. Just fit the one the printer reports as empty.

What returns coverage comes with the set?

Every cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. The complete policy is on our shipping & returns page, and our team is reachable Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

Where does my order come from?

The set is $68.36 and ships from whichever of our warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is positioned to reach you soonest. All four cartridges travel in the one parcel.
