Frequently Asked Questions
We run month-end reports on the ML-3051ND - how does a five-pack smooth out those peaks?
Month-end is exactly when a printer runs dry, because the heavy week lands on a cartridge that has been quietly emptying all month. With five ML-D3050B cartridges in the cupboard, a mid-run fade becomes a one-minute swap instead of a stalled report run. Across the pack you hold 40,000 rated pages, so even several heavy month-ends in a row are covered before reordering crosses your mind.
What does the per-cartridge price fall to in this five-pack?
It falls to $53.50, from $68.29 bought one at a time - the pack totals $267.48 against $341.45 for five singles, a saving of $73.97. The per-page cost falls with it, from about 0.85 cents to about 0.67 cents across the pack's 40,000 pages. Same ML-D3050B cartridge in the box; the only difference is how many you take at once.
Which printers do these five cartridges fit?
The ML-D3050B serves the ML-3050, ML-3051, ML-3051N and ML-3051ND. This pack is listed for the ML-3051ND, but because all four models share the one cartridge design, the contents are not tied to that machine alone - any cartridge from the box can be fitted to any of the four.
Does a cartridge left sealed for months still print properly when its turn comes?
Yes, provided it is stored sensibly: sealed in its packaging, lying flat, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Toner is a dry powder with nothing to evaporate or clog, so a spare from this pack fitted six months from now behaves like one fitted tomorrow. The caution is only about environment - keep the boxes away from radiators and damp store rooms.
How do we avoid ending up with the pack half-used and forgotten?
Keep the remaining cartridges where the printer is, not in a general store room, and count them at month-end alongside the paper. A simple habit works: when the third cartridge goes in, note it; when the fourth goes in, place the next order. Deliveries set out from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, so a fresh pack is days away, not weeks.
What warranty and returns cover applies to a pack?
Every cartridge in it is covered individually: one year of warranty from the purchase date and returns free of charge throughout that year, with the details published on our shipping and returns page. If you hit a problem, support is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST - and because cover runs from purchase, sizing the pack to your real volume, as this one is for a busy ML-3051ND, is the right way to buy.
