Frequently Asked Questions

Our ML-1865 works a reception desk and can never be down — how far does this pack take us?

Five cartridges at 1,500 pages each is 7,500 pages of cover. A busy front desk printing a few hundred pages a week will still measure this box in months, and because the next cartridge is always in the drawer, a fade at the worst moment costs two minutes of swapping rather than a day of waiting on a delivery.

What does each cartridge in the box effectively cost?

$24.79. The pack is $123.96 against $39.58 for a single cartridge, so the per-page toner cost falls from about 2.64 cents to roughly 1.65 cents — and over the five cartridges you spend $73.94 less than buying them one by one.

Is there a smarter way to use the pack than one printer, one cartridge?

If the office has a second MLT-D104S machine — an ML-1860, ML-1866 or an SCX-3200, say — the box works best as a common pool. Any printer that runs low takes the next cartridge from the shelf. Shared stock means no machine ever waits while another sits on a spare it does not need yet.

Which models can draw from this same box?

All of the MLT-D104S family: ML-1660, ML-1665, ML-1666, ML-1670 and ML-1676 printers, ML-1860, ML-1861, ML-1864, ML-1865W and ML-1866, and the SCX-3200, SCX-3200W and SCX-3201 multifunctions. The Samsung toner range page carries the full list.

What happens if a cartridge in the pack develops a fault halfway through the box's life?

It is returned on its own. Every cartridge in the pack has a one-year warranty and free returns for a year, applied individually, so one bad unit never drags the rest back with it. The returns route is explained on the shipping and returns page.

How quickly will the pack reach us?

Orders are dispatched from whichever of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA is best placed for you, which keeps most deliveries short. If timing is critical — a desk printer already fading — support can advise before you order: they are available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
