Frequently Asked Questions

Which toner does the Oki B720 use?

The B720 uses 52123601 and 52123602, the two cartridge options in this family. Pick the capacity matching your volume.

My B720 prints have a vertical black line on every page. Is that a toner problem?

A consistent vertical black line usually comes from a scratched drum or debris on the LED array, not the toner itself. Clean the LED strip first. If the line persists, the drum needs replacement.

Is the B720's higher-capacity 52123602 cartridge worth it?

For regular printing it is. Fewer replacements and a lower cost per page make it the better value. Very light users may prefer the standard 52123601 to avoid a cartridge sitting for years.
