Frequently Asked Questions

Does "Premium Quality" in this MC837DNC listing name raise the price?

It does not. This set is $139.21, identical to the standard MC837DNC four-color set. We think you should know that up front rather than discover it at checkout: the words in the listing name carry no extra charge, and we make no claim here that they change the cartridges inside the box.

What is the rated life of each cartridge in the set?

Each cartridge is rated at 10,000 pages — the same figure for black, cyan, magenta and yellow. For a multifunction printer that copies in color throughout the day, matched ratings mean no one color is designed to give out long before the rest under similar coverage.

Which four part numbers does this set stand in for?

44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512, covered together as one family. The set replaces all four positions in a single purchase, so whichever of those numbers your records use, this listing is the bundle that matches it.

What printers does the set fit?

The MC837DNC is the headline model for this listing, and the set also fits the C831, C831dn, C831n, MC873dn and MC873dnc. If your office runs a different Oki, the other sets are grouped on our Okidata page.

How does the bundle price compare per cartridge?

Four cartridges for $139.21 works out to about $34.80 per cartridge. Since this Premium Quality listing and the standard listing share the same price, that per-cartridge figure is the same whichever of the two you choose.

What backing comes with the purchase?

A 1-year warranty plus 1-year free returns, with shipping from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses. Questions are answered Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the complete terms are posted on our shipping and returns page.

About This MC837DNC Premium Quality Set

Start with the price, because it is the honest headline: $139.21, exactly what the standard MC837DNC set costs — the "Premium Quality" name changes nothing on the invoice. What you receive is the full four-cartridge family, 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512, in black, cyan, magenta and yellow, each rated at 10,000 pages, at roughly $34.80 per cartridge. For a copy-heavy multifunction printer, that is a complete reset of every color position, backed by a year of warranty and free returns.
