Frequently Asked Questions

What does a full four-color refresh do for an MC837DNC that copies and scans all day?

A multifunction machine like the MC837DNC burns through color toner in copies as well as prints, so partial top-ups run out faster than expected. Installing all four cartridges together — black, cyan, magenta and yellow, each rated at 10,000 pages — resets every supply counter at once and keeps copy quality consistent across the whole set's life.

How much does the set cost, cartridge by cartridge?

The set is $139.21 total, which breaks down to roughly $34.80 per cartridge. There are no separate color surcharges in the bundle; the black and the three colors share the same averaged cost inside the set price.

Which cartridge family numbers are included?

The complete family: 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512, presented as a group because this set supplies all four positions at once. If you arrived here searching by any one of those numbers, this is the listing that covers it as part of the full set.

Does the set fit printers other than the MC837DNC?

Yes — the same set also fits the C831, C831dn, C831n, MC873dn and MC873dnc. The MC837DNC is the model this listing is written around, but the cartridge family is shared across those machines. Our Okidata page covers the rest of the Oki lineup.

Should I expect exactly 10,000 pages from every cartridge?

The 10,000-page figure is the rated yield for each cartridge, measured under standard test conditions. Heavy color coverage on copies and graphics will shorten real-world life, while light text documents stretch it — the rating is best used as a planning benchmark rather than a promise for any single cartridge.

What warranty and return terms apply?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover the set. We ship from IL, PA, GA and CA, and our support hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Everything is detailed on our shipping and returns page.

About This MC837DNC Four-Color Set

Multifunction machines work their toner harder than single-function printers, and the MC837DNC is no exception. This set replaces everything at once: black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges from the 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512 family, each rated at 10,000 pages, for $139.21 — about $34.80 a cartridge. One box restores full color copying and printing, and a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns covers the set if anything underperforms.
