Frequently Asked Questions

Why replace all four colors on an MC837DN at the same time?

On a networked machine like the MC837DN, several people share the same toner supply, and colors tend to deplete within weeks of each other. Swapping in a full set — black, cyan, magenta and yellow together — means one maintenance moment instead of four separate interruptions, and nobody in the office is left waiting on a single back-ordered color.

What page rating does each cartridge carry?

Every cartridge in the set is rated at 10,000 pages. The rating is the same for black and for each of the three colors, which makes planning simple: a busy shared printer can be stocked with a known quantity of pages in every position from day one.

Which cartridge numbers does the set cover?

All four of them: 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512, taken as a group. We list the numbers together because the facts for this set do not tie a specific number to a specific color, and we would rather present the family honestly than guess at an assignment.

Is this set made for the MC837DN specifically?

The listing is centered on the MC837DN, and the same set also fits the C831, C831dn, C831n, MC873dn and MC873dnc. Other Oki models use different cartridges — the full range is on our Okidata page if your fleet includes more than one model.

What is the total price and per-cartridge cost?

The four-cartridge set is $139.21 in total, or about $34.80 per cartridge. These are compatible cartridges rather than original Oki stock, which is how the set holds that price while still carrying a full-year warranty.

What support and returns coverage is included?

You get a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on the set. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support is staffed Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Details are spelled out on our shipping and returns page.

About This MC837DN Four-Color Set

A shared printer keeps office hours for everyone, so its toner should not run out one color at a time. This set gives the MC837DN a complete fresh start: black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges spanning the 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512 family, each rated at 10,000 pages, for $139.21 altogether. One order, one swap, and the whole workgroup is printing in full color again — with a year of warranty and free returns standing behind it.
