Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this four-cartridge set keep an MC837 printing?

Each cartridge in the set is rated at 10,000 pages, so the black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges all carry the same 10,000-page rating. In practice the colors rarely empty at the same moment — black usually goes first in document-heavy offices — but you are starting every position from a full, evenly matched supply rather than topping up one color at a time.

What exactly is inside the box?

Four cartridges, one for each position in the printer: black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Together they cover the full cartridge family for this machine — 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512 — so a single order refreshes every color at once and there is no second order to place for a missing shade.

Which printers does this set work in?

It is built for the Oki MC837 and also fits the Oki C831, C831dn, C831n, MC873dn and MC873dnc. If your machine is one of those models, this is the matching set; you can browse the wider range on our Okidata page if you run a different Oki model alongside it.

What does the set cost per cartridge?

The set is $139.21, which works out to roughly $34.80 per cartridge across the four positions. Buying the colors together in one set keeps the per-cartridge cost even across black and colors, instead of paying a premium on whichever single color happens to run out first.

Are these genuine Oki cartridges?

No — these are compatible cartridges made to match the 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512 specifications, not cartridges manufactured by Oki. They are a lower-cost alternative to the originals and are sold openly as compatibles, so you know exactly what you are buying before you order.

What protection comes with the set if something goes wrong?

Every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. Orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and if you need help our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The full terms are on our shipping and returns page.

About This MC837 Four-Color Set

This set exists for the simplest reason: when one color on an MC837 runs low, the others are usually not far behind, and replacing all four at once ends the cycle of staggered orders. You get one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow cartridge — the complete 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512 family — each rated at 10,000 pages, for $139.21 total. It is a practical full refresh for offices that print in color every day and would rather stock one box than chase individual colors.
