Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly arrives when I order this for my MB491+LP MFP?

One black toner cartridge — the 44574701 — sealed in its packaging and ready to install. This is a single-cartridge listing, not a multipack, so the box holds exactly the one supply your MB491+LP MFP is asking for, rated at 4,000 pages and priced at $28.45.

How much printing does that one cartridge represent?

The rating is 4,000 pages, which is about 0.71 cents per page and roughly eight reams of paper. On a multifunction machine, remember that copies draw on the same cartridge as prints, so the total counts every page the MB491+LP MFP produces.

How do I confirm the number before I order?

Check the cartridge currently in the machine: 44574701 is Oki's part number and it is printed on the cartridge. If that is the number you see, this listing is the same supply.

Is this cartridge made by Oki?

No. It is a compatible 44574701 built to the same specification and sold under our Clever Supplies brand. You get the same 4,000-page rating at $28.45 instead of the original-brand price.

What if something is wrong with the cartridge out of the box?

It is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns; the full terms are on our shipping and returns page. Contact support Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST and we will replace or refund as the situation calls for.

How long will delivery take?

We ship from the nearest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses with stock, so most orders arrive in a few business days. More supplies for this printer family are listed on our Okidata toner page.
