Frequently Asked Questions
What should the first pages look like after I install this set in a C9800HDTN?
Clean and even from the first sheet: solid blacks, smooth color fills and no banding. Run a couple of test pages with both text and a color block; if output looks right, the set is seated properly and you can put the machine straight back to work.
Is this Premium set priced above the standard C9800HDTN set?
It is not. Both listings sit at $292.17 with the same up-to-15,000-page rating per cartridge and the same part numbers — 42918901, 42918902, 42918903 and 42918904. We state that plainly rather than inventing a premium difference the listing does not contain.
What does the set contain?
Four cartridges: black, cyan, magenta and yellow, one of each, each rated at 15,000 pages. At $292.17 the set divides to about $73.04 per cartridge, however you choose to install them — all at once or one position at a time.
Which printers can use this set?
The C9800HDTN is the headline model; the cartridge group is also listed for the Oki C9600hdn, C9600hn, C9600n and C9800hdn. Cross-check the 42918901-series numbers with your installed cartridges if your machine's badge differs slightly.
What if the print quality disappoints me?
These compatible cartridges carry a one-year warranty and a year of free returns under our shipping and returns policy. If a cartridge is the cause of poor output, contact support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST and we will make it right.
Where do orders ship from?
Our warehouse network covers IL, PA, GA and CA, and your set leaves from the closest location with stock.
