Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this C6150N set say "Premium Quality" but cost the same as the standard one?

Because that is simply how these two listings are priced: $145.50 either way. Both are Clever Supplies compatible sets drawn from the 43865717, 43865718, 43865719 and 43865720 cartridge family, and we see no honest way to describe a difference we cannot point to. Treat "Premium Quality" as the listing's name, not as a surcharge — you pay the standard price and get the same one-year cover.

What do the page ratings mean for my color printing?

Each color cartridge — cyan, magenta and yellow — is rated at up to 6,000 pages, and the black at up to 8,000 pages, all at standard coverage. A page with a small color logo uses a fraction of that coverage; a page that is mostly photograph uses several times more. Your real color life will land somewhere between, depending on what your C6150N actually prints.

What exactly am I buying?

A four-cartridge set: one black, one cyan, one magenta, one yellow, matching the 43865717 / 43865718 / 43865719 / 43865720 family your printer was built around. At $145.50 the set averages roughly $36.38 per cartridge, and one purchase keeps every color position in the machine supplied.

How can I be sure the family is right for my machine?

Open the printer, read the number on any installed cartridge, and compare it with 43865717, 43865718, 43865719 and 43865720. One match is enough — the four numbers travel together as a family. It is a faster and safer check than relying on the model name alone.

Is it sensible to keep the unopened cartridges in a supply cupboard?

Yes. Keep them sealed, flat, and away from heat and direct sun, and they will be ready months later. Toner cartridges do not dry out the way ink cartridges can, which is exactly why buying the full set ahead of need is a low-risk way to run this printer.

Who do I talk to if something goes wrong?

Start with our support team, available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM Central. Every cartridge in the set carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — see the shipping & returns page for the full policy. Orders ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, whichever warehouse is nearest to you.
