Frequently Asked Questions

The listing mentions both 304A and four separate codes. What is in the box?

They are two ways of naming the same family. Inside are the CC530A black, CC531A cyan, CC532A yellow and CC533A magenta — the four cartridges every Color LaserJet CP2020 uses, sold together as one set.

My printer's supplies screen just says '304A'. How do I confirm the match?

304A is the family name the printer displays; the individual codes are what is printed on each cartridge you pull out. If the cartridge in the black slot reads CC530A, this set is its family, and the three colors will read CC531A, CC532A and CC533A the same way.

What yield should I expect from each cartridge?

The black is rated at 3,500 pages and each color at 2,800 pages, under standard coverage. A CP2020 printing mostly letters will lean on the black; one printing color handouts will work through the colors noticeably faster.

One color has started leaving a pale stripe down the page. Is the whole set due?

A single pale stripe points at a single cartridge — the color of the stripe tells you which. Rock that cartridge gently to redistribute its powder; if the stripe stays, replace just that one from the set and keep the others for later.

Can I install the four cartridges on different days?

Yes. A set is a buying convenience, not an installation rule. Each cartridge lives in its own slot on its own clock, and the sealed ones lose nothing by waiting in the box.

What backing does this purchase include?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns stand behind every cartridge. Orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, help is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the details are gathered on our shipping and returns page.

About This 304A Four-Color Set for the CP2020

The CP2020 is a printer, plain and simple — no scanner, no fax — and this set is built for the day its four original cartridges have all aged into tired output. One box, four fresh cartridges, and the printer's color balance is back where it started.

At $81.21, these Clever Supplies compatibles match the HP 304A family's ratings exactly, so the CP2020's supplies page reads the new cartridges just as it read the old ones. Fresh black for text, fresh colors for the pages that need them.

The set breaks down into individual listings: CC530A black, CC531A cyan, CC532A yellow and CC533A magenta. Also fitted by this set: the Color LaserJet CP2025x, Color LaserJet CM2320fxi, Color LaserJet CM2320n, Color LaserJet CM2320nf, Color LaserJet CP2025dn and Color LaserJet CP2025n.
