LaserJet 2420D
Automatic two-sided printing defined the 2420D: HP's faster 2420 workgroup printer with duplexing standard. Offices printing long documents got the speed of the 2420 and the paper savings of duplex in one box.
It takes the HP 11A (Q6511A) or high-yield HP 11X (Q6511X). We stock compatible and genuine OEM cartridges in both.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the HP LaserJet 2420D print on both sides of the paper automatically?
It does. The HP LaserJet 2420D was configured with a duplexer, so double-sided output is a driver setting away. In your application's print dialog for the HP LaserJet 2420D, choose the two-sided option.
Does the HP LaserJet 2420D print in color?
No — the HP LaserJet 2420D is a monochrome laser printer, so it prints in black toner only. Its single cartridge, the Q6511A, holds black toner; there are no color cartridges for the HP LaserJet 2420D.
Will the Q6511X fit my HP LaserJet 2420D if it shipped with a Q6511A?
Yes — the HP LaserJet 2420D accepts both the standard Q6511A and the high-yield Q6511X with no modification. You can move to the HP 11X the next time the HP LaserJet 2420D asks for toner.
