Frequently Asked Questions

Which yellow does the M680z take?

Budget for the CF332A: $66.50 buys the single 654A yellow cartridge this machine runs on, rated at 15,000 pages. The code is also shown against the yellow position in the MFP's supplies information, if you want to double-check at the machine before ordering.

The last booklets in a stapled batch look colder than the first. Why?

Because the yellow gave out partway through the batch. The drift is gradual, so inside the run nothing looks broken — it only shows when the first and last booklets sit side by side, one warm, one cold. For client-facing sets, that comparison is the whole problem.

If I pull a cartridge early for a critical run, can it ever go back in?

Yes — a cartridge swapped out with life remaining is not waste. Note its rough level on the box, store it sealed and flat, and it becomes the emergency bridge supply: not the cartridge you would start a big batch on, but the one that saves a small job on a Friday afternoon.

How is the change done on this model?

It is a few minutes' work at the front of the machine: door open, spent cartridge drawn out, fresh one pushed home until it clicks, door shut. The Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M680dn platform then calibrates itself — no tools, no service visit, and the production queue barely notices.

How many spares does a production corner need?

At least one full-strength yellow beyond the machine. Work bound for the finisher is deadline work, and a CF332A on the shelf — plus the labeled part-used one behind it — means toner never becomes the reason a batch ships late.

What backs this purchase?

The purchase is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. We ship from IL, PA, GA and CA, keep support hours Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and explain returns on our shipping and returns page.
